Dear All,
I am new one here, I need help and advice. I plan to take my master degree in september 2014. Based on my experience as a corporate lawyer, i have extensively involved in financing projects, capital markets, and mergers & acquisitions.
I used to plan to continue my study in bristol university due to its alumni reputation in international law firm, however there is no financial law subject. Therefore, i think glasgow is great option, because they offer corporate & financial law.
I just wonder, is there any university which is better than my option above for such subjects?
Your information and advice will be highly appreciated.
Thank you and warm regards,
Lambert & Lock

Kind regards,
What is your degree average? A lot of universities have specialisms in corporate or finance LLM, for example LSE and UCL, which are probably the top ones after oxbridge, then it is queen mary, city university, the university of manchester has a good LLM in corporate governance

Actually im not familiar with degree average in UK, i just conducted search and i think mine is 2:1.
I got scholarship, and the funding organization will only provide £1000/month for living cost in london and £800/month for living cost in another city. I was informed that £1000 is not enough in london, consequently universities in london are not my option.
Referring to your information, which one is better between manchester uni and glasgow uni especially for financial law?

I would be a bit biased as i spent the last 4 years in manchester so i have to say Manchester!
