Hi there! I want to apply for an LLM in criminal justice and I don't know where. Is any University famous for this programme? Oxford is not a choice, obviously.

University of Amsterdam offers an Advanced LL.M. in Public International Law and Criminal Justice (PIL).
Glasgow has an LLM in Criminal Justice and an LLM in Criminal Justice and Human Rights.
There also is an LLM in Criminology and Criminal Justice at King's College London.

If i am accepted there, I won't insult them, I will go. Still, I try to think in a realistic way, I was a good student, but not an excellent one.Kings is a very good idea. And maybe Edinburgh?

Edinburgh is a very good law school, too. As far as I know they do not offer an LLM in Criminal Law, but they do offer an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

I particularly don't know the program here, but a lot of people who did their MCA (not an LLM, actually) decided to stay for the PhD, what seems to me a very good signal of the quality of the Department. Actually, you can also take advantage of the strength of the University in Human Rights and International Law, if you want to focus the international perspective of criminal justice.

The progam in Ottawa seems really interesting, but Ottawa unfortunately is so far away... I am afraid I cannot leave Europe, at least next year. Thanks anyway!
I noticed, though, that criminal justice is not a very popular MSc or LLM in the UK. How come? I wonder if it is completely useless, although very interesting.
