Hi
Does anyone know if you can send supporting docs by courier to the PO BOX address that Oxford provide? I ask because usually couriers don't deliver to PO BOX addresses, and Oxford only gives that address. I'm sure I'm not the first person to be wondering about this....
Thanks
A.

Andrea,
You should check with the courier company. I tried to send supporting docs to an US university's PO Box and was contact by the company when the docs were already in the US to provide them with another address... it was a mess and my docs almost didn't arrive on time. I suggest you contact the University to check if there is an other alternative or use regular mail.

I am PRETTY sure that you shouldnt send it to the PO Box No...whatever else you do...They need a signature and it wont get delivered...
What I did (and I stress that I cant be absolutely sure it was the correct thing) is to send it to the similar but slightly different address without a PO Box No; on the bottom left of the screen at this link...
http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/postgraduate/apply/
This address is generally given there, without specifically indicating that couriers should be sent there...I figured that its a postal address of the Board of Graduate Studies, so it should work ....
If you have the time to call them, you could confirm a 100%...

Sorry, in that last post I meant to write 'The Graduate Admissions Office'...not Board of Graduate Studies...

Thanks for the advice...
I just contacted them via email and was told that:
"Thank you for your email. Normally, courier services are able to deliver to the PO box address; we have been informed that they will contact Royal Mail to enquire about the delivery address connected to the PO box".
I'm not sure this makes much sense...

Rac - I see your point....did your courier confirm delivery to oxford based on that address you gave?

Hi - I know there's only a couple of days left to get your forms in, but you could consider sending it by express post. You pay extra but they can usually send international mail in a couple of days, you can track to see if it's arrived and you could sent it anywhere (no signature required). Just an idea.
