Hi! I am Belgian and I just received a conditional offer from the University of Edinburgh. The condition to get admitted is that I provide evidence of sucessfull completion of Masters Degree. The problem is that I think I might have failed one of my finals... Which means that I would have to re-take the exam in August. Then I would only get the final results in September.
Could someone tell me if I can still get an unconditional offer, even if I graduate in September? Or is it too late? It is unlikely that I will fail but I might graduate later than expected.
I am not familiar with these "conditional offers". Thank you in advance :-)

Hi, maybe you should talk to the admission office since they are the only ones who could change the conditions of your offer or not.
In my view, if you have not fulfilled the conditions of your offer before the date stated in it, you won`t be allow to enroll to the LLM. Therefore, it is necessary that you discuss your particular situation with the Uni as soon as possible.
best wishes,

Hey! Congrats on your offer. I suggest you accepted the offer in any case and when they deem appropriate they will "bug you" with the rest of the missing documents. September is not too late given that you can present the missing documents during matriculation. Just to be safe send them an email and ask them when is the latest you can submit evidence of completion of studies.

Thank you for your answer!
I asked the University and they told me that I have to send them a document written by my university, stating that I will graduate in September. Then I will have a "special" unconditional offer, which will allow me to apply for accomodation. Feel much better now :-) !

Just realised that there is no "like" button here. Nevertheless, and using FB terminology, Like!
