Hi all, i have completed my bachelor of commerce from one of the top universities in my country and later went on to finish my law standing in top 5 of my class. during my UG i have interned with one of the top taxation firms and banks and my activities included being the director of the Rotract and outreach clubs, while participating and winning many oratorical and debate competitions. in law college i interned with a couple of law firms and business consultancy firms, while also participating in international moot competitions and winning many national ones. was also the editor in chief of an international law review and the president of the literary club and also received the best outgoing sportsman award. im currently a judicial clerk in the supreme court and will be the co-author of 2 internationally published law books.
having given my brief profile, i would to know the chance of getting an llm from cambridge or a bcl from from oxford and if not, what are the things i would need to do to improve my chances. your suggestions and feed back would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Sounds pretty much ok to me.

But what are your weak points?

Please tell us the three things your strongest competitors at your university have and that you lack, the three things you're most envious of, the three things you wish you had but you don't.

What are those weak spots?

Please tell us.

Thanks.

On a scale of 1-10. The higher the number the more chances.

Cambridge : 9/10
Oxford: 8/10

You have good past, now focus on the future. Objectives, Goals and Measures.

Hi, I am from Pakistan and I am interested in applying to Oxford for MFL and Cambridge for MCL. I have done my LLB from the university if London International Program and have graduated with a 2.1. I am ranked in the top 5% of my class and have graduated over all with a 2nd position. I have worked with one of the best law form of the capital. I am currently working as a tutorial teacher at a prestigious university for Land Law and Company Law. I have also submitted legal research to be published at our universities law journal. Besides this I have completed diploma in french and have participated in various activities from working in a hospital to teaching the poor. I don't have a first class which is minimum requirement but no one in my batch has it either. I just want to know if I have a shot here or should I consider other options like KCL and UCL.

I'm honestly not familiar with the British degree classification system - but isn't it usually the top 10% of the class who receive first class classification?

Not really in the external system. Usually top 10% have a 2.1.
