Hi Nits!

It seems as if they are churning out decisions in respect of the MCL programme more readily now. So you should probably get a change in status soon. Will let you know when my status changes!

Good luck!

If I am not mistaken, I think that that is the first step in the process. The Law Faculty probably still needs to assess your application.

Before today, I had the same status which status endured since the completion of my application in October 2013.

Thanks!

It is a language requirement condition. However, I'll be requesting a waiver instead of writing one of the language tests.

Let me know when you get some news! Good luck.

That is strange as my understanding was that whether it is a waiver or test results, everything should have been provided along with the application..

Yes, I find the condition imposed strange as well as I submitted a letter in respect of the waiver of the language requirement with my online application.

However, the following appears as a special instruction. I suppose this is the avenue that I will utilised in order to secure a waiver.

"We have set a language condition. If you consider that the condition should be waived, or if your most recent language test result has narrowly missed the Universitys minimum requirement (or you consider that the result does not reflect your ability), please contact our University Language Centre as soon as possible. Following consultation with your department (and college, where known), the Language Centre may be able to carry out an assessment of your language skills. If you are not sure whether you may be eligible for assessment, please contact the Language Centre directly to discuss your case."

Maybe its just something they are sending to all. Should not be a concern.

But, in either case, for all other still awaiting a change in status, guess nothing is going to happen until the end of this weekend :(

Congratulations!! That's much earlier than I thought- their website says about April!

How did they communicate the offer to you?

Thanks,

Hi Daibhi

It seems like the decisions are being communicated through CAMSIS predominantly. However, I did receive the formal offer by e-mail about an hour ago.

Thank you Fenris.

I received an e-mail from the Board of Graduate Studies about 3 hours ago confirming the offer. So it seems like you'll receive 2 e-mails once the offer has been extended.

Good luck to you!

Any more news from anyone?

As mentioned in the LLM thread, I received an offer on February, 26.

Anyone else?

Lucien1910, are you going to accept the offer?

Best wishes!
