No update yet on my application. I'm a non-UK European applicant. In any case, if I receive no news on the LLM by next Mon/Tues, I'm taking the MCL for which I already received an offer!

Raradream, might I ask what European country you're from? I'm from Belgium and haven't received an update yet on my application either.
I did receive an offer for the MCL last week though. What do you all think the odds are of getting into the LL.M having received an offer for the MCL?

According to my colleague who studied Cambridge earlier, he was also offered MCL and its deadline was approaching before LLM while the result of LLM was concluded. He, therefore, decided to personally contacted Ms. Wade to ask whether he was offered LLM or not. At that time, she was so kind to inform and email him personally that he received LLM offer as well.
So I would suggest that you contact Ms. Wade or whoever who is responsible for this to ask whether you receive LLM offer or not, in order to let them know your situation so that you can make your choice correctly.

I'm from Malta. I wish I could answer your question, but I really do not know any more than you do about my LLM chances (and Oxon MJur chances too, while we're at it), given that I've had the MCL offer already. My biggest problem with this all is that I got my MCL offer very early on, which brings the deadline to pay the reservation fee even earlier!

haha overseas students may have the advantage of getting offers a few days earlier, but the 35 000 BGP overseas fees definitely adds some sticker shock!
