As to the rejections comment, this is only partially true. I remember seeing something in the website about how they might give out some rejections first, but that you can receive a rejection at any time. I guess they might take applications out of the pool at first glance if they already know they do not want to consider them, but this doesn't mean they cannot reject people later in the selection process.

This is a much more sensible statement than that of our optimistic friend above, but I never said that those who did not receive rejections are in - anyone capable of believing that will certainly be rejected :).

It just seems that having a decision pending is better than having a confirmed rejection - that's why I asked if rejections were already being emailed.

ignore optimisticgirl...it seems that she is on this site simply to contradict everyone....

I didn't want to dignify you with an answer but since you deem it fit to make defamatory sweeping statements, let me ask u to visit GAO and then show me wea it says that rejection letters go out first. My only statement here was that we would hear back in March and I stand by that. If that statement qualifies to mean "contradict everyone" then I guess I need to do an English language test.

Wayward just posted the link so if you don't need an english language test as you say, then you can read it :)

PS: i really wonder why would someone who was accepted last year from Cam reject it to reapply this year; and at the same time apply to LSE and even start a FB group for LSE? Further to this, you seem to have a very strong opinion as to when were rejections released last year; so if you were accepted as you allege then how do you know that people weren't rejected before tey started releasing offers? Maybe it's cause you were rejected?

One I think you are a troll who delights in pissing off pipo. Just to help u out a bit; check our Forum last year n u will realise I was among the very 1st pipo to get offers. 2ndly, u will realise from all the groups before, including last year, that rejections come out at the same time as offers. 3rd, my reasons for reapplying are none of your business anyway. 4th, I have had an LSE offer for 2 years now having differed it. 5th, you must be a real sad person because you are constantly trying to paint other people in a negative way in order to appear superior. I hope my dignified answer teaches you a thing or two about life. You may end up as my classmate for starters.

1) i don't try to 'paint other people in a negative way'; you are here abusing people hence I treat you in the way i do
2) you can have a look through forums and ask how many people I have helped/advised
3) earlier you made reference to an english language test...well if by 'pipo' you mean people; and by differed (disagreeing) you mean deferred (postponing something) then a language test would probably be useful

FYI, MCL offers are now out which from last year indicates that we may hear back in 2 weeks time as was with last year. Good luck to each and every one.

I have a feeling that if we end up as classmates Cambridge classes would be turned into a fighting/debating venue :p

Could you kindly point out one abusive word I have used? P.S: When this specific post started, I helped out with P.S. Secondly, I wrote some of those words in shorthand. Could you learn how to punctuate properly and put fullstops where they ought to be? Because you need that too. In addition, sentences start with capital letters and not small letters so learn that too. If you want to be trivial, then let us play this game. But I am not making any more replies to you because clearly you are a troll.

your punctuation comment was completely irrelevant, since all 3 of my points were numbered!!!
Further to this, punctuation is trivial compared to using a word that means something totally different (differed/deferred); and calling people 'pipo'.

This is the most irrelevant post ever, so apologies, and please note that I'm taking no sides and have probably gone hysterical with the wait for Cantab to reply, but when I read pipo - that really made me laugh, it's good I'm going to use it. I think you should coin it!

As for everything else I think optimistic definitely did get a place last year, pipo ;) have to defer for number of reasons so we don't need to go an accusatory path.

Lastly, GOOD LUCK ALL!!!

I agree with you on this...There are so may people on this site yet we only heard of ONE MCL offer; and now just one person alleges that his status has changed! i, by no means' call that person a liar but we better take such posts with a touch of salt.

Plus be aware of people who claim that their status has changed as most of them are actually not being truthful just like it was last year. But if he/she is truthful, our heartfelt congratulations.
