To be honest I don´t think there´s much point looking at the statistics. Cambridge is a brilliant programme and obviously selective as they require a First to get in. Cambridge has always been a dream of mine, and if so happens that I will be accepted to Oxford as well, I will still choose Cambridge. For me, the decision is about so much more than just the statistics or the ranking of the programme :))

Congratulations! I really want mine to change now as well :) If I remember correctly, the Australian applicants were the first ones to get BOGSed so maybe they are going in the same order for the offers.

I was told clearly by Ms Suzanne Wade that Cambridge does not offer deferrals except in extremely unique circumstances and finances was an example she gave as not being one of those reasons. I was not differing because of finances though.

Additionally, deferrals are only possible if your course has two start dates in the same academic year. And since the LLM does not have such, then Suzanne Wade advised that it is extremely difficult to get one.
