I would definitely say Aberdeen, from my experience professors at University of Birmingham are not supportive and unapproachable..

I am studying in Birmingham and the staff is very supportive and approachable. Maybe it depends on the particular person but overall, I have never had any problems. The campus is great and there are many helpful events and facilities. It is not a coincidence that the University of Birmingham is according to the Times the university of year 2013.

I do not know about the other schools, but i can tell you about Birmingham. The LLM programmes are great (regardless of which particular programme you are going for) - there's lots of variety, the campus is great. Like the previous person said, unapproachability may be lecturer specific. + they may just look unapproachable but will definitely give you all the support you need if you reach out to them. The courses can be quite challenging in terms of workload but ultimately rewarding. In view of the latter point, if you are looking to have lots of fun, it wont be the right place for you. Another plus is that Birmingham is actually one of the best Law Schools in the UK - and the Uni of the Year.

Like i said earlier, I cannot speak authoritatively on the other schools (maybe for Aberdeen I can say a little cause I have friends that go there, and from our comparisons, Birmingham's better), but as a current student of Birmingham, I can definitely say i have no regrets coming here. It has been totally worth it.
