How does BCL compare with MSc Criminology in terms career prospects at the Bar?

I would personally go for the BCL. I have not seen one barrister with a MSc, where as there are many top barristers with BCLs. The BCL is ostensibly the 'most revered postgraduate qualification in the Common Law world,' or so the Oxford website boasts.
I should also point out that becoming a barrister in the UK is an extremely difficult and stressful process. I would therefore spend some time researching the process of becoming a barrister to see whether it is for you or not.
Best wishes,
James
