Sal - I applied for the BCL just before the deadline (within a few weeks). Good luck.

I am from Australia and received notification of acceptance into the BCL program this morning by email with the offer letter attached.
As some others have done, I'd also urge anyone with any information as to when we might find out about scholarships etc to share that with the rest of us.

I sent out my app like a few weeks before the deadline, but only got my teacher's reference in on the day of the deadline.
So I guess at least if you submitted online, you can be sure that they got your app, even though they annoyingly don't send out confirmation emails.
Btw for any people interested (I know I was when I applied), I got a 59.6 average in first year, but a 70 average in 2nd (3 firsts) - so I think first year doesn't matter THAT much, contrary to what John Gardner on the student room implied.

Hi everyone. I also received an offer this morning via email (Australian time). Sorry for my misleading post on the other thread about offers only coming out by letter - I guess they got more tech savvy this year! I certainly wasn't expecting to hear so soon.
I applied before Christmas on paper, but it doesn't seem to matter when you put in your application as I think they only start considering them once the date has passed.
I'd also really like to know about Clarendon/ scholarships etc so anyone with info let us know! I don't think we'll hear about colleges for at least a few weeks as it's my understanding they only send applications to the colleges once the due date for offers has passed/ people have officially been notifed.

Did anyone hear today, or do you think all of the e-mails have gone out? Thanks!

Got rejection in the post today. No email. I'm UK based.
Brett: beyond my receipt of postage (special delivery signature) I got no email or post confirmation of application prior to the letter today.

I have the same question... observing the tendency, and the fact that I, like you, have not received emails yet, Im afraid we are going to have to wait until the letters arrive by mail... yesterday the admissions officer told me that decisions were due today, he did not mention anything about an email and said to wait for the letter... I think this may be a sign of rejection... I hope Im wrong..

This is what I'm thinking, perhaps if you're UK and applied by post rather than online they don't e-mail, hopefully anyway...?

I also was admitted to the BCL from England.
Anyone know how many people are on the course each year and what the UK/EU/US split is roughly?
Anyone else heard?

Has anyone received an offer by letter only (as in, not received an email). Or is it the case that no email = no offer?
