Hi everyone. I graduated July 08 from Leeds Metropolitan University attaining a 2:1 LLB. I'm currently taking a year out but will shortly be applying to Leeds Uni to undertake the LLM in International and European Human Rights for September 2009 enrollment. Although I maintained 3 years of strong results on the LLB I only attained B,C,D at A-Level in Law, Business Studies and Economics respectively. Will these A-Level results seriously effect my chances of gaining a place?

No, your A levels are completely irrelevant and most will not even ask what they are. Depending on your thoughts about venturing away of Leeds, it might be worth considering that point as it opens your options to consider some of the stronger programmes at Universities towards top of the league tables (Bristol, Nottingham, University of London Colleges etc). Not to say that the course at Leeds isn't good (I'm not a Human Rights lawyer so I wouldn't claim to know), but if you thought you were limited by A levels then you might have automatically discounted options that you have a great chance of getting on.
