Hi, my Toefl Score was 108 and I got 24 in the speaking section. Harvard requires a minimum of 100, but with a least 25 in each subsection. I really do not want to take the Toefl again, does it matter if I did not get the 25 in 1 section?
Toefl Score for Harvard

I have to say that Harvard would definitely review your application instead of crossing it off the candidate list. However, you still have time for another TOEFL exam. Although the total score is fine and there is only one-point deficit to the requirement as for speaking, it is never too tired to get your credentials excellent instead of being regret in the end.
So, take another exam before the time runs out.

Take another test! It is still early and you have already proven you have what it takes to get a good score. Don't give Harvard an excuse to put your application behind any other. Remember that the TOEFL score will never grant you admission but it could definitely take you out of the race.
Go get that extra point!

I got 24 in the speaking section and 108 total and I got in!! They will take that into account but I believe that the essays, recommendation letters etc have more value...
good luck!

I wouldn't rely on that. Better do another test. Try everything you can, otherwise you might regret it!

Help (!):
I am applying for Harvard, Columbia, NYU and American, and I chose to send over my TOEFL scores to them automatically (on TOEFL iBT registration day with no extra fees).
The thing is, on exam day, I was having a terrible day so, in spite of having good english, I probably got a low score (I didnt actually receive the score yet though). Does anyone know if I can take another test and ask these universities to consider only the second score? Because I heard something terrible about universities evaluating you based on the average of all scores you send them, is that true? (That information was particularly regarding NYU)
