103 in the internet-based test is equal to 257 in the computer-based test. Most unis demand 250 computer-based, so you shouldn´t have any problems. The best schools as you call them might expect a higher result though.

Go here to see how the scores in the different test types compare: http://www.ets.org/Media/Tests/TOEFL/pdf/TOEFL_iBT_Score_Comparison_Tables.pdf

Dang, they used to have this hot chick on the TOEFL website, now she´s gone. :-(

well marco,
im doing my llm in manchester so i could seem to be a bit biased, but dont worry about toefl and not getting admission in london!
manchester has really nothing less, unless u look for some specific programs where london in better (i.e. banking law).
the academic staff here is top class and the school of law among the best in the country. london is really far too expensive!

Hi all,

I have just passed my TOEFL test (277/5.5) and I received a conditional offer from Cambridge. Unfortunately, I did not ask the TOEFL center to send a copy of my results to Cambridge as well. Graduate Studies Prospectus states that sutdents should not send the score report themselves but let the TOEFL center send it. What does it mean? Does it mean that even if I have succesfully passed TOEFL, BoGS will not accept it if I send it on my own and not via the TOEFL center? Does anyone have experience with this matter?

You are right, if they state in their application guidelines that they want an original score report then you need to order it from ETS. Mostly a normal copy of your personal score certificate will work for the application process, but they might not give you an unconditional offer until they receive a score report directly from ETS. You can order it by fax or by phone, go here to read the details on how to order it: http://www.ets.org/portal/site/ets/menuitem.1488512ecfd5b8849a77b13bc3921509/?vgnextoid=e7c72d3631df4010VgnVCM10000022f95190RCRD&vgnextchannel=88e4197a484f4010VgnVCM10000022f95190RCRD Hurry up ordering the score report as it takes a good while to be sent out.
