Hello all. One question:
Are the TOEFL minimal scores (required by some schools) really mandatory?
(in MBA Programs many schools don't consider the TOEFL scores as a decisive factor and someone who does not have the minimal score may be allowed to join the program on the condition of atending an English language course)

Well it depends on the university. Some universities are really rigorous others like the Univesity of Boston a bit more liberal.

More precisely, HLS demands for a result of 100 and a minimum of 25 in each of the four subsections (listening, reading, speaking and writing).
Is this really mandatory? I mean, is a result of 100 not enough if not on the basis of a 25*4?
Thank you

I've heard of ppl who were admitted with TOEFL scores below the minimum required by 1 point.
However, there are also cases in which the applicants were not considered at all due to their TOEFL scores.
