UPenn (no scholarship) or Georgetown (with scholarship)

MayVid

Dear all,

I am trying to choose between UPenn (no scholarship) and Georgetown (with a 35,000$ scholarship).

My area of expertise is antitrust law and I would like to stay in the US at least for an OPT after I graduate.

Both schools have elite programs with excellent teachers and the choice of the location is quite difficult.

I would love to have your feedback ! Thank youuu

Given the significant scholarship offered by Georgetown, especially when considering UPenn's high sticker price, the financial aspect makes Georgetown a particularly attractive option. Coupled with its renowned program, advantageous location, and supportive community, Georgetown would be the best choice for your pursuits in antitrust law.

This is actually a good answer. In fact, I am in a similar situation myself. I believe that, as long you are studying in the US and in a prestigious school, it doesn't really matter if it is among the top 5 or the top 20.. It will probably have the same curricular effect when you get back to your country. So, in my opinion, it would be wise to choose the school that gives us the opportunity to be part of its community and that makes our pockets hurt less.

I agree with the above; Penn isn’t worth 35k more than Georgetown. Enjoy DC.
