Hello!

From what I know (having talked with both alumni and employers) NYU and Georgetown are considered the top two programs (NYU is number 1 but some Georgetown alumni would not agree). Florida is traditionally in the top 3 but has seemingly loss some of its reputation recently. It’s still a great program (especially when considering cost). In my view, if you are getting a tax LLM is should be from NYU, Georgetown, UF or Northwestern. Really depends on what you want from the LLM. Florida has a great program and carries a lot of weight (especially in the SE) but it won’t have the national reputation that NYU or Georgetown would have. I applied to all four programs and my decision will likely be based on scholarship amounts.

What would you say if you had to decide between Queen Mary University of London's Tax LLM and UF's?

Kind regards.

It depends on what you want to get out of the degree. Where do you want to work at after graduation?

I want to pursue an academic career mainly. In the short term, I guess working for a Big 4 is ok (in Europe) to repay the debt lol
