I wondered in witch countries it is possible to work as a lawyer right after the llm studies without any further exam or education.
F.ex.: In USA you will need a bar exam I guess. In Germany you need a 2. state exam.
I know, that until 2014 it was possible in Spain.
Are there any options in Europe (or somewhere else) to get a lawyers license straight away? Or just with some practical experience - but without another exam?

Rules vary wildly by locale. You can sit the NY bar exam if you have a qualifying undergraduate LLB from a common law country. That’s it, no llm required.

Thanks a lot for the reply. Does anybody know s.th. about European countries?

What are the bar requirements in Singapore?

I have the same doubts about European countries. Could you finally get the information?
