I have thought to set out a list of those areas which are considered to be important nowadays, in order to clarify doubts and help to decide the correct path,
Here (http://legalcareers.about.com/od/legalspecialties/tp/Hotlawpracticeareas.htm), the listing is as follows:
1) Civil Litigation
2) Enviromental Law
3) Bankruptcy Law
4) Labor and Employment Law
5) Foreclosure law
6) Intellectual Property Law
7) E-Discovery practice
Here (http://www.americanbar.org/publications/law_practice_home/law_practice_archive/lpm_magazine_articles_v34_is1_pg12.html), we can find another rating.
Notwithstanding, what about Business Law? and Taxation? do you think these areas will be always a "Hot Practice Area"?, In my opinion I think that taxation will always be a good choice due to its complexity and the necessity to raise money. On the other hand, taking into consideration the present situation, where do we leave Business Law? there wil be always a place there?.
To conclude, I introduce the next question: Which area of Law do you think that has, and will have a higher rate of recruitment by Law Firms and Companys?
