Entry Requirement of Foreign Student for New York Bar

Hi all,

I come from a country with common law jurisdiction. I have studied an LLM degree and I am going to complete a GDL from BPP law school, which is a distance learning programme in UK. Can I satisfy the requirement of the New York Bar Exam?
Most grateful for your help!!

Thanks!

A GDL and an LLM will not qualify. You need a three year qualifying law degree from an accredited university in a common law country. It must be done in residence, not correspondence.
