I see a lotta posts on vanila LLM applicants for CLS; but have not seen much of a discussion on the LLM/Associates-in -Law program that CLS (also) offers.

Anyone else goin for it?

Hey L&E, I applied for this program as well. I have seen only one discussion on the LL.M/Associates-in-law program for Columbia. My research agenda was on human rights. Did you include it in your personal statement? I don't even know anyone that has been admitted to this program in the past. There is no information on LL.M that were admitted in the past but I can see JSD and JD students in Columbia's website.

Yes; you are right ; CLS has a link that leads us to brief bios of the Associates -In - Law, but most bios I read were pursuing JSD @ CLS along with the fellowship. Some of them are JDs with a clerkship or two looking to make the transformation; as indeed you correctly point out....

Yes I included the personal agenda in my personal statement; my agenda deals political economy in developing countries broadly
