It depends whether you want to come to the U.S or U.K.If your option is U.S it is my opinion that your best bet is Boston University.

BU is the first Law School in the entire U.S to commence a specialization in Banking & Financial Law.Its faculty is phenomenal, the professors are well published and Specialist in the practice of Banking Law.The Morin Centre is a centre point for Banking Law in the world. However,BU has not been lucky with the rankings because the ranking is basically political. On general BU is your best bet for Banking Law,although because Fordham is in NYC and close to Banking institutions HQ some students go there to enjoy NYC life.

Georgetown,i dont know much as per Banking their strenght is in Tax which BU is also very strong.

The Boston University does not offer a distance learning for Banking. The Banking LLM is a well rounded program that has full time prof. it is a very cerebral LL.M program. Recently the Morin Center in BU organized a symposium on the current economic crisis in the U.S, it was a masterpiece with a panel full of experts in Banking and Financial Law.

To get the real academic exercise it is better you attend BU LLM in Banking at the charles river campus in Boston.
