Applying to Columbia Law School without work ex

Hello all,

I'm in my final year of law school and wish to pursue an LLM in public international law/human rights. Columbia has great courses for the same, so I was planning to apply. However, they stress a lot on work experience, which I don't have.
Would you recommend going for it still?

I'd also love to know if anyone here got in directly without work ex, thanks!

Recently CLS grad here. In my opinion, it depends on the cohort of your country of origin. This year, there were a few Europeans who came straight from college without work experience. However, the vast majority of students had at least 3 years of post-graduation work experience.
