Hi,
I'm a graduate from the first Class of 2012.
I choose the Singapore campus and my time in the LLM was just perfect.
I really enjoyed being taught by Top Professors and Professionals. I met numerous interesting persons I'm sure I wouldn't have met otherwise.
It is a very good thing that all seminars are taught in English specially because the focus of the LLM is International Business Law. English is the business language and while I love my native language (French), I know how important it is to learn and speak English.
This LLM is a great program, period!

Personally, I would recommend you the LLM of Pantheon-Sorbonne (Paris 1), also called The Sorbonne Law School (École de droit de la Sorbonne).
http://ecolededroitdelasorbonne.univ-paris1.fr/
This "Sorbonne-Assas Law School International" was created less than a year.
This confusion is dangerous and it is ridiculous from the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2) who wants to get the name "Sorbonne" for a better international reputation.
The University Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2) is simply part of an organization bringing together three universities we decided to give the name "Sorbonne Universities" to their association.
Due to ongoing litigation, it is not sure that this university can keep the name "Sorbonne".
Whenever you see the name "Assas", you should know that this is not the "Sorbonne". This is well known by Parisians students.

You're saying so many bullshit!! Precisions seem necessary.
1 - the Sorbonne-Assas was created more than 2 years ago
2 - the association in question gathers three universities : Paris 2 Assas, Paris 6 UPMC and Paris 4 Sorbonne, i.e. the original Sorbonne http://www.paris-sorbonne.fr/
(because the real "Sorbonne" if such university exists is not Paris 1 but Paris 4 )
3 - unfortunately for you, a litigation has already occured : Assas won the right to use the name "Sorbonne" as well as Paris 1
Next time, please inform you before giving your opinion.
Bests.

1 - Ok, fine. Who would like to get a LLM from a university which has been created 2 years ago ?
2 - Ok. Anyway the organization called "Sorbonne Universities" is not a university. As a result it can not issue degrees. Thus, the LLM degree is awarded by Pantheon-Assas University and INSEAD business school, not by "the Sorbonne".
Besides, if you look at the diplomas of the Pantheon-Assas University (Paris
2), you will see that they don't mention the name "Sorbonne", contrary to Paris 1, Paris 3 or Paris 4.
3 - Even if Assas has won, you know that there is a difference between the theory and the practice. Everyone in Paris has the habit to call Paris 1, "the Sorbonne" and Paris 2 "Assas".
But if you want to speak in a lawful manner, this "Sorbonne-Assas International Law School" is even not a french university.
Actually, this university DOES NOT EXIST in France. It doesn't issue degrees validated by the French State. This is actually the University Pantheon-Assas (Paris 2) which issues those degrees. And as you can see, the name of Paris 2 University does not include the term "Sorbonne".
While the Sorbonne Law School is a french, independent and public university called in french "École de droit de la Sorbonne", part of Pantheon-Sorbonne University (Paris 1).

1 - euh, it is not the question. If such people want to apply to this program, it is not your problem right? Why do you want to talk them out of applying to this program. (just because you want to make your little advertising for your LLM maybe?).
2 - I've never said that it was an university. It is a "PRES" (public institution which gathers several universities, which is an official statute, to complex and not interesting enough to be detailed to the foreign lecturers), so what ?
And if I look to my diplomas of Pantheon Assas, i can read that they were issued by each the University of Paris 2 and also the PRES Sorbonne U. ^^
3 - "The difference between the theory and the practice" (lol). Please find something else.
The "école de droit de la Sorbonne" is neither a public institution. It is just a marketing name to attract more students, not less than the Sorbonne/INSEAD International Law School. Sorry for you, but all universities want to be at the top of the rankings, even Paris 1.
Please. Nobody is asking you to support this program, but just don't try to make your little advertising in this topic reserved to the LLM international Business Law.

The University Pantheon-Assas (Paris 2) leave the PRES "Sorbonne University".
Thus the degrees of the University Panthéon-Assas no longer refers to the Sorbonne.

I had a look at the academic calendar which seems being not very clear. There is a "Programme" and an "Executive Education Programme". What are the differences ? Moreover, class is supposed to take place from Monday to Friday ?
Thank you in advance
