I`m interested in studying in Wienna and I have recently found this llm program that is tought in English.
I know that this program existed before, but it was on Deutsch.
Could somebody with the experience tell me something about this program and generally about studying in Wien?
+ how hard is to get accepted?

Hello,

I would like to get some information about LL.M. Program
in European and International Business Law at the University of Vienna.
Does anyone has some experience from this Program?
Is it a good value? Is it difficult?

I would really appreciate your answers.
Thank you for your answers.

Hi, I am currently on the LLM course. I would say that in general, the compulsory modules are hard (ie easy to pass but not so easy to get a really good grade) - but that the electives are a lot easier. The electives are really varied and diverse and it is really up to you what direction you want to focus on in the course. Most people seem pretty pleased with the course so far and the social life is good too which is always a bonus!!

Thank you for your reply.

How many students are there in the course?
Are lectures held every day? How many hours
per day do they usually last?

Thank you and greetings.

Hey, think it is about 18(ish! as some are part-time).... lectures vary, can have nothing for a week or so, then a whole day of 9-5! Really depends on the electives you choose!!

Thank You, You've been very helpful!!!
I really like the courses of this program and the city too!

The thing that still bothers me is, how recognised and
appreciated this LL.M. program is, since it's brand new?
But, University of Vienna is of very high quality, so I guess
this program must be of good quality too.

Greetings and good luck with the course!

Hi, it is only the English language version of this programme that is brand new, the German version had been running for many years and has a fantastic reputation, so I really don't think recognition of the LLM will be a problem! Good luck!!

Hi guys!

I got accepted, but don't know if I should take the spot....
Could anyone share some information on how the program was? And how the work load is?
I'll be working full time, so I'm a bit worried...

thanks!
