LLM at Heidelberg

Hello,

I am an American, and I'm going to graduate from law school in May. I would really like to pursue and LLM degree in Germany. In particular, I am interested in studying in Heidelberg. However, I am not very proficient in German. I studied it for 3 and a half years in undergrad, but I can not speak it very well. (So, I do HAVE a good background in German grammar...I just really need to learn more VOCABULARY!) I want to take language classes and would love to become FLUENT in German, but may not get the opportunity to do so until after I finish my law degree. Does the Uni in Heidelberg offer an LLM in English? If not, does anyone have any recommendations for learning German AS SOON AS POSSIBLE??? Does anyone know which universities offer LLMs in English??

Thank you!!!!

The Europa Institut at Saarland University and I think also Munich University offer LLMs in English. Oh, and Hamburg, as well (EMLE=European Master in Law and Economics).

But -correct me if I'm wrong- it's not a LLM. And a LLM is what you should strive for coz all these other "LLM equivalents" are not known internationally.
