Okay. I thought LSE has an excellent reputation and is also well-recognized back in India, just in case one has to come back at some point. I have seen a few people landing up at least a training contract after LSE LLM. But ILF is good too, I guess. 

Have you paid the deposit? What are the next steps for you in terms of completing the admissions process at ILF?

No doubt LSE has a reputation but what I have heard is that it is very academic and less of practical approach. And the course is rigorous, leaving no time to intern to gain some experience.

Oh okay, I thought they are generous with financial aid. Did you get any sort of scholarship from other law schools? 


Not really. It is difficult to get scholarships and prevalence of pandemic makes it more problematic. 

How is ILF with Financial Aid - did they give you any fee discount? 

They have certain scholarship but I didn't get one. The LLM International finance has a discount system but then there is a date till when you can apply if you want that concession. 

Hi! I got into the ILF in January, the International Finance Programme. Does anyone who is going to the ILF have their visa's sorted? My appointment was for May and of course its been cancelled!

Hey everyone! I applied for the LL.M. in finance starting in the winter semester of this year. I already sent my acceptance letter and I'm looking forward into moving to Frankfurt! I wanted to know if anyone else has already decided to go for this LL.M. and if you guys know if the courses are gonna be on campus, virtual or both
