Hi,
Am of applying to the COE for 2010-2011, I have done french law in college and did my erasmus year in france, while my standard of spoken french is quite high, my written french would be average, I really want to study european law and the college of europe is the place to do it, but I don\'t want to have to struggle through french exams and wind up getting a crappy overall mark. I was wondering if someone could tell me how the french subjects are examined, by oral exams or by written exams and what is the standard necessary?
Thanks,
Maggieg

The standard will certainly not be too high for you. The College of Europe will be very happy if you can correctly express yourself orally and on paper :)
If I remember correctly, the requirements for French and English language tests are low, so.

Depending on the courses you follow, exams are both oral and written. There is at least one course in the first semester that has a written exam, seminars in the second semester are usually examined orally.
You need level B2 French to get into the Legal Studies LL.M.
