Difference between MLLP and LLM

Inactive User

Hello!
I have a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Athens, Greece. I am interested in applying for the master offered by Humboldt University "Deutsches und Europaisches Recht und Rechtspraxis. However, this is not and LLM but an MLLP. Does anybody know in what aspects the MLLP differs from the LLM (and if there is any actual difference). Any furtrher information (especially from someone who has taken the programme) would be very useful.
Thank you!

This program acutually does lead to an LLM. It is stated on the website, that students are awarded a »Master of Laws (LL.M.)«

I guess the main reason that it's (also) called M.LL.P. (Master of German and European Law and Legal Practice) is that it has a practical part / internships. That's quite uncommon for LLM programs, but certainly not a disaadvantage.

These are the modules according to the website:

Modul 1 Grundlagen, Öffentliches Recht oder Strafrecht,
Modul 2 Zivilrecht,
Modul 3 Spezialisierung,
Modul 4 Praktika,
Modul 5 Masterarbeit.
