Arriving in Paris on a Dutch student visa

I am from Malaysia and I am applying for a Dutch student visa. Can I book a flight to Paris and take the train to Amsterdam, or should I book a flight directly to Amsterdam? Flights to Paris are much cheaper.

if you already have been granted the visa then you're fine to fly to paris. sometimes european embassies insist that you book your flight to the destination country..

I am from Malaysia too. There is no problem with you flying from Paris. In fact, I am also flying from London.

Are you from KL? Maybe we could meet up before we both leave. When do you leave?
