American Lawyer in Paris

I am a mid-career American lawyer wanting to settle in Paris (or anywhere else in Europe, but preferably Paris). Will a Sorbonne-LLM help me get a foothold in the Parisian legal market. And if the Parisian legal market is tight, would an LLM from a different school (say, Geneva) help me in any other European city. I am fluent in German and French.

I have just finished this course and am in the process of looking for a job, so I can't personally confirm it's effectiveness. However three of my fellow students were American with varying levels of experience and they have managed to find posts. The stage with a law firm/in-house department seemed to be useful in getting a foot in the door. Why don't you try to speak to a few recruitment agencies in Paris to see if you need the LLM?
