Hi all,

I've got a question relating to academic references for my LLM application;

As i'm not sure which exact kind of LLM I want to do (and will be applying for a few types; IP, international commercial arbitration) - does the academic reference need to reflect on my academic abilities generally, or should it echo the language used by the particular field of law / university that it will be used to apply to? Further, is it important to reference the particular university / course in the reference?

My concern is that I don't particularly want my academic referee to write 5 slightly different versions for each university/course I am applying to.
