Hello everybody,
I'm searching a LLM course about commercial law and accidentally met MIDS of Geneva. I really like the programe. But I don't know any thing about this university, about studying in Switzeland also.
And another problem I met is from their website, I read about French Master thesis (however it can be in another language with prior approval of the Program Director)
Does anyone know about this university: studying and living here? And about the Frech thesis problem also, for I don't know much French, just very very little.
Thank you, in advance :)

Congrats, Iclmar :)
So, you'll go to Geneva this Fall? I intend to study here next year, hence, I explore about this university since now.
Do u think Geneva registration is competitive? And the staff, are they helpful and enthusiastic?
Thank u :)

In my view, the MIDS is the best program you can find in abitration. Both the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute are very well known in international law. Switzerland is one of the most important seats of arbitration in the world, and its home of a lot of international organizations.
Regarding the master thesis, where did you find that it has to be in French? I couldnt find that in the website and, as far as I know, its in English (as it is the whole program) with the option of doing it in French if you want.
I think the registration is competitive... you can see it from the profile of the alumni and, in my personal case, I applied last year and I was not accepted. =( The staff is extremly friendly and helpful though!

Oh boy, that would be something if MIDS required a thesis in French. Fortunately, that is not the case.

Hello everyone!
I am starting my MIDS one hour from now. Last year when I was thinking of applying, there was real dearth of some honest opinions about the course. Therefore, anyone interested and wants to know anything specific is most welcome to pm me or post their questions here. I will definitely try and answer honestly whatever is in my knowledge.
