It seems to have a solid distance program and is an ABA approved school.

I only know about Saint Thomas University, University of Alabama (LLM Taxation) and University of Connecticut School of Law (LLM Insurance Law).

St. Thomas University claims to the first law school that is accredited by the ABA to receive acquiescence to offer an LLM by distance learning.
As a matter of fact, the ABA does not formally approve any program other than the first degree in law (J.D.). ABA accreditation does not extend to any program supporting any other degree granted by the law school. Rather the content and requirements of those degrees, such as an LL.M., are created by the law school itself and do not reflect any judgment by the ABA accrediting bodies regarding the quality of the program. Moreover, admission requirements for such programs, particularly with regard to foreign students, vary from school to school, and are not evaluated through the ABA accreditation process. The ABA reviews post-JD degree programs only to determine whether the offering of such post-JD program would have an adverse impact on the law school's ability to maintain its accreditation for the JD program. If no adverse impact is indicated, the ABA "acquiesces" in the law school's decision to offer the non-JD program and degree.
Currently, there are not any law schools approved by the ABA that provide a J.D. degree completely via correspondence study.

Still, if you plan to do an LLM you should verify whether the law school is ABA approved for its J.D. as this indicates that it has a solid academic level.

Greeting to all,
I received my J.D. at the University of Florida at a time when St. Thomas was not accredited by the ABA. After graduating hundreds of students who could not sit for the Florida bar (because of the lack of accreditation) they finally did receive ABA approval for their JD program. Their reputation is now marginally better. Their ranking in America is not upper tier. In fact, they are ranked in the lowest tier of the rankings (Tier 4).
The education âestablishmentâ in America is not as accepting of the concept of distance education as are the Europeans. Most Americans would consider an online degree little better than a mail-order degree. This is, of course, entirely unfair as there are now many accredited programs in America and the number is growing as small universities recognize the income potential for such programs. In all fairness, I would assume St. Thomas fits into the latter category.
I plan to pursue my LLM via distance education through the University of London program. The reputation of the school and the external program are excellent and offers a quality in education that, in my opinion, is unmatched by any ABA accredited law school in the United States. The cost in the new program at UCL have risen dramatically as they phase in the new program, but it is still comparable to the cost of similar programs elsewhere (both in-residence and distance education).
I hope this information helps!

The students who graduated from St. Thomas during the period in which it was not accredited were granted permission to take the bar from the Florida Supreme Court, and were subsequently admitted to practice after St. Thomas was accredited.
