Boston University is launching a new program in March 2011, an Executive LL.M. in International Business Law. It will be a 20 credit blended-learning program with two three-week residential periods in Boston, with the reminder of the program on-line (designed specifically for on-line learning). The courses include Contracts; Corporations; Mergers and Acquisitions; Securities Regulation; International Business Transactions and Agreements; and Corporate Finance and Accounting. In addition, there is a workshop in "Current Issues in U.S. Business Law". The program is divided into three cohorts, that are offered in March, July and August of each year, in a carousel format that allows students to begin or end on any of the three cohorts. For maximum flexibility, one cohort is offered twice yearly (March and July), and the July and August cohorts run consecutively so that students can complete two of the three cohorts in a single four-week summertime residency.
