Why huge tuition fees difference in LLM course

Dear Madam/sir

I have gone through the websites of several Canadian universities offering LLM courses in various streams.
However, I failed to find out as to why there is a huge difference in the tuition fees of these courses.
For instance, tuition fees of LLM General (Thesis) is around 9000 CAD at UBC compared to LLM in Common Laws, whose fees is over 32000CAD. Same is the case with most of other universities.
I would be very thankful if someone can through light on this issue.

Regards

There is no reason, expect the university balance sheet and its accountants projections. An LL.M is a degree you buy and a way for universities to make a lot of cash for only a small investement.
