Hey, planning to apply for the same option. Not done yet though, may I ask how good your academics are overall? And, do you have any professional experience? Already another Master's degree?

Thanks for your answer and I hope you'll be accepted!

Hello everyone,

I just received an unconditional offer to McGill - thesis track. My application was completed on December 15th, but I changed my application to thesis track on December 20th. I was contacted a few days ago and asked to upload a gradescale.

Background: I am Canadian and have a Bachelor of Journalism and JD from two averagely-ranked Canadian universities. I graduated in the top 5-10% of my class for both degrees. I'm currently working as a law clerk (I think they're called "judicial assistants" elsewhere) and will be called to the bar in June. I have a few publications and a few years other professional experience.

Hope this information is helpful and best of luck to those still waiting

I am a French-Canadian graduate student and I want to pursue a LL.M. next year in international law/human rights. I got an offer both from McGill and UCLA (with a $30 000 scholarship from the graduate committee!) and I am not sure where to go. Doing the LL.M. at McGill in Montreal would cost me roughly 4000$ in tuition fees and doing it at UCLA would cost me around $30 000 (which is 40 000 Canadian dollars).

Any review/opinion about wether UCLA international and comparative law LL.M. is worth the fees and debts in comparison to McGill LL.M.

Thanks!

I got a message from the Graduate Admission about whether I would like to be considered for the Non-Thesis Program. Does anyone know if the University gives scholarships for the Non-Thesis option?

Hi, I am currently pursuing LL.B and am in my final year. I have been told by an agency that Canada doesn't accept LLM applicants from India and that there is test that we have to take and then get enrolled in a J.D. program and after that go for LL.M.

From what I know all the countries take in students for LL.M. directly after LL.B.

If I am wrong please enlighten me.
