Hi all.
I do realise that there are lots of similar threads here, yet I think things may be different now in 2012.
As it shown, it would be very helpful if you can recommend a reliable, comprehensive prep course for New York Bar exam (and MPRE) for me.
The qualities I am looking for are,
1. Comprehensive and up-to-date materials
2. well designed course
3. Essays will be marked by the tutors/lecturers in details, meaning that there are full explanations/corrections of the mistakes I make.
Another thing is I am going to take the course Outline anyway, don't know if it makes any difference though.
Thank you!

I can recommend Pieper Bar Review. They were very good.

I'd recommend Barbri for sure especially because pretty much every JD and LLM takes Barbri, so you know you will be well prepared.

I will take my NYB exams in Feb 2013 even though I will start my Phd in Oct 2012, I will like to meet someone with critical thinking so that can share ideas towards the exams. I have already got confirmation from BOLE that I am eligible to sit for the exam.I will also like to know any reputable company/institution in the UK that runs the course. I can't do it for full-time at the moment due to my other commitments.

I took LLM Bar Exam and I can definitely recommend it. I studied for the July 2012 Bar with a group of other 8 friends. Well, 8 out of 9 passed the Bar! I mean, all LLMs (I heard the average passage rate for LLMs is somewhere between 30 and 40 %).
The outline is clear and well organized, and I loved the faculty (especially Ben Trachtenberg: you gotta love him!!). What I found more helpful, however, is the tutors support. I mean, they actually tutor you throughout the 2 months prep. For instance, I had my tutor force me to write and re-write essays. During the prep I must have written something like 50 essays. I heard that students from other preps do not write more than 5 essays... Tough luck!
