Transfer LLM to JD

wlin15

Does anybody here has ever transfer they LLM to JD? Does it possible to do it so?

I have been enrolled LLM Construction Law in Unimelb and I am trying to change my course to JD if possible. But I still haven't received any reply from them yet.

the short answer is, yes it is possible. Most universities will credit your LLM results towards the JD as electives but I have heard that credits may be lost if you switch universities (but in your case it is probably irrelevant)!

@ wlin15
do you mean you want to pass the bar in us with an LLM degree?
so far i've heard only us has JD while other areas have LLB..

I kindof wonder the same thing: which LLM out there lets you pass the bar of other common law countries ?

thanks
