Hello,
I am an IP Lawyer in India. Have around a year of experience in litigation and a year of experience in IP. I have a 5 year BA;LLB qualification along with a LLM specialising in IPR. My partner is from Australia and I am planning to eventually immigrate however, I am completely lost on the professional front. From what I've currently gathered, I'll have to have my qualifications assessed by the local authorities/associations of the state ( NSW in my case ) and then see what is required for me to be able to work in Australia. Is there anyone here who has gone through the process and can shed some light on it ? Also, Would you recommend that I do a LLM again, even if it may turn out to not be a necessary requirement ?
Thank you.
