Hello,
The MBA/LLM actually requires a few years of work experience because of the MBA component so I am assuming you have had some managerial one prior to your LLB studies in India?
In terms of the program itself, AGSM and UNSW has a high prestige level in Australia so this shouldn't be an issue compared to the University of Melbourne LLM. Obviously a University of Melbourne MBA/LLM is more prestigious but you will probably have to complete the full duration of both programs given they are not dual programs.
Given your intentions to work in Australia after completion of studies, I would advise against completing a LLM degree (no objections regarding the MBA) because it does not allow you to practise as a lawyer in Australia. This consideration would not apply if you are intending to go into a management/consulting or any other profession which does not require advance degree studies in Australia.
I hope that my opinion helps in someway!
Brgds,
Greg

well, i didnt see the work experience part. it requires 2 years work experience atleast. and im doin my last year llb in india.
and i would rather be in legal field than in management field.
so, if i want to work in australia, would i have to do LLB again?? :( To work in law firms in Oz , doesnt llm qualify?
i heard that one can take addl. courses at la tobe university along with llm to be admitted as lawyer in australia. Do tell me your opinions.
and thanks for replying! :)
