Hi Everyone,
I got an offer from UNSW for a LLM as an international student.
However, I have some concerns regarding the program by itself and the difficulties that could arise for international students from non common law background.
Does anyone know if those students cope quite well with this Master and if any support is provided by the university for them in terms of English classes etc? Or anyone had already studied this LLM ?
I have been tried to contact to get those information but they are quite useless..
Thank you!

Hi, I can't offer too much help
But I have taken classes with LLM students.
Yes, some international students face difficulty. Different ways of doing things, etc.
However, I can say that there are a good number of postgrad classes where it doesn't matter if you don't have a common law background. I knew two girls from Europe from a civil background and it was fine for them. I don't know about help for English though. Lean fast but the main issue is the writing and yes it can be tough for the students to adapt.

The UNSW LL.M. is totally easy.
I know two German graduates who did it without any problems. They were both below average students.
