Yes it was needed. I have been wondering and actually am confused regarding the application timelines at melb uni. I graduate from my undergraduate in law in june 2024. I will have my degree in August 2024. I plan to go for the llm immediately and melb uni is one of my top choice. I am not able to figure out when should i apply and for what intake. I can probably not go for the mid intake in july right. I will have to choose 2025 start year in take that is february 2025. Can someone pleaseeee guide me on this. Are there other intake periods for international students for llm as well there. Thanksss. I am from india btw

Hi. I'm from India as well. And yes, you can apply for mid-year intake. It's only a deadline for reviewing applications and not for starting the semester itself. So go ahead apply. It is on a rolling basis, so the earlier the better.

It's 6.5 for IELSTS Academic. It's mentioned in 'Melbourne Law School' under the sub-heading 'Other Coursework Programs' - Check this link: https://study.unimelb.edu.au/how-to-apply/english-language-requirements/graduate-english-language-requirements/course-specific-requirements#navigation-mls

Hi, I am in dual thoughts. But I know someone who got a full ride last year. Have you applied, already?

Hi, I applied in December 2023 for the mid-year intake. However, there has hardly been any progress in my status of the application. Is anyone else in a similar boat? Has anyone received an offer yet?

Hi, I applied in November, 2023 and I haven't seen much progress either. I have only been updated to 'Application Assessment in Progress' since maybe late-December. I've heard from others that MLS takes a while to respond where they respond around somewhere April-May so good luck!

I did not know that they respond so late. They mention an 8 week timeline on their website so I had started to get a little worried. Honestly, the April-May timeline seems quite late, hopefully they can respond before that.

I can confirm that the application process does not requires a personal statement to be submitted at this stage. Although past applicants have informed that a personal statement may be required later on

Hey, just wanted to give an update here. I got an email from MLS saying they've put me on the waitlist and will let me know about a decision by 31st May. Idk if this is necessarily good or bad. Any info would be great:)
