Hello
I'm a Swiss lawyer. I'm planning to move to Sydney in about 2 years time to spend some months there (4-6 months). My goals are to gather some working experience in Australia and to improve my legal English. I am working as a lawyer for more than 1 year now. So by the time I'll be in Sydney, I will have about 3.5 years working experience.
I think about working in Sydney as a visiting lawyer, perhaps with a law firm having connection with Swiss/European clients. Does somebody have any Ideas for me? If it's not possible to work as a lawyer (as I come from a "civil law"-country and I will not have a lof of experience with common law), I would be open for other ideas, like working as a paralegal or something like that. Can someone help?
Thank you very much!

Why don't you contact law firms in Sydney and ask them directly? I doubt that many people on an LLM-oriented forum would have a lot of insight here.
