I`m a chilean lawyer who´s really interested in studying an international business law program, international economic law or something related.
Therefore that´s why i´m doing the proper research regarding universities and programs, to find the more suitable LLM for me.
That´s why, i would like to ask to anyone who´s attending to CUHK (or other in HK), or who has attended in the past, could tell me how much money to consider approximately, besides the tuition, for an entire academic year in Hong Kong??? (including acomodation, food, leisure, transport, etc).
I looked up at the university website but i couldn´t find that...and anyway, i really prefer to get that info from someone who has already been through the experience.

I am a Malaysian citizen and was called to the Malaysian Bar on 23 January 1997.I completed my LLB(HON) in University of Central Lancashire ,England in 1992. I was in active practice after being admitted to the Malaysian Bar doing mainly civil litigation and conveyancing until i ceased practise until sometime in 2001 because of personal reasons.

I subsequently took a break from working and came back into the work force in 2003 , wherein I commenced work with a public listed company doing mainly corporate work , managing the litigation, conveyancing (the list is not exhaustive) with external lawyers whom I am currently still attached with.
I am thinking of moving to Sdyney but am not sure what the requirements there for someone in my position.
Can anyone tell me if I would have to restart my training (please tell me no i do not have to ) or if i would merely have to sit for 1 or 2 papers.

Can anyone tell me how is life, economically speaking, in singapore and shanghai, because I want to prepare a budget for studying in those places (NUS), and require some advice from other students currently over there or former students.

I might come up a lil late with the reply but probably it is useful for the next inquiry: Life is Shanghai is fairly cheap, also it depends heavily on your needs. Like many other Shanghainese, you are able to survive with couple of bucks a day. Pls do ur own calculation: Lunch in a small restaurant you can get for ten Rmb, a 3 km taxiride for 15 Rmb, and housing in the dorm is a bargaining too. However, if you wanna stick to a western standard, you will end up paying nearly the same as in any other western city (for pizza, clubbing, pasta, western products in the supermarket even one third more expensive...). But, if you are willing not to live directly in the center and travel in the morning - lets say half an hour with the MRT - it gets a fairly cheap again.
