NUS Decision of 2020/2021

dog_xi

Hi.. I applied for the CFS programme and I am also awaiting an offer. I mailed them on Friday and got the following reply this morning:

"We seek your patience and understanding to allow us time to release your LLM outcome by early June as we are currently under strict measures arising from the COVID-19 situation but we endeavour to make your outcome available as soon as we can.

We apologise for the inconveniences caused"

Hi! Is this the first time for you to mailed them about decision making issues?

Hi there! I mailed them sometime in the first week of April and I was informed that I would know the decision by end of April. Since April was coming to an end, I followed up again last week and got the above reply.  Do you have any idea if NUS sends rejection mails?

Thanks for your reply! I guess they may send offer and rejection letters at the same time in June, so it's still hopeful to get good results and the only thing we can do now is waiting.

With no updates from Admissions Committee yet and with the Circuit Breaker in Singapore, would it be possible that the LLM opening on August be moved back to September or October?

Have there been precedents to this kind of situation in NUS?

To those who have accepted their offers already, are you still pushing through?

We will be hard pressed to find any precedent. Nobody knows what the global situation will be like in the foreseeable future. I do wonder if instead of deferring the commencement of the term the school may put in place remote learning instead. I think this is explored in some of the UK universities.

Hello NUS offer holders!
I recently received an offer letter from the NUS for my LLM in IADR. The COVID situation in India is grim and I am doubtful about the situation getting any better by August. I am thinking of requesting NUS to defer my admit to next year. I request all the Indian offer holders to comment below and share their respective whats app contact details in order to enable me to create a whats app group of the NUS offer holders since we all are sailing in the same boat.
Cheers!

Hii guys. Any idea if NUS is permitting students to defer their admission to next year? Also, did they send any offers of late?
