i assume you are an international student, and not a local chinese student? the program for locals is difficult to get into, it requires exams, interviews, papers, etc. but the program for internationals is easier to get into. i'm not sure of the admission standards, but it's definitely not harvard llm level.

hi population!!!! do they ask for chinese language proficiency to international students?

it depends. if you (as an international) apply to the program for locals, they will require chinese language proficiency. if you apply to the program for internationals, they will not require chinese language proficiency.
