Hi! I wish to pursue an LLM in Business Law and NUS is one of the options that I'm considering. Getting a job in Singapore/Europe/HK is my primary purpose for doing an LLM so if anybody could please throw light on the placement scenario after this LLM, I would be very grateful. For context - I'm from India. I have 2.5 years of experience working as a Legal Counsel for one of the top IT MNCs and am currently working as a Legal Associate at one of the top Financial Services MNCs (would complete 1.5 years by the time I leave for my LLM). I like what I'm doing right now so I'm hoping to secure a similar job after my LLM too.

NUS is definitely a great option to consider, especially if you have your sights set on job opportunities in Singapore, Europe, or Hong Kong. While I can't speak specifically to the placement scenario for Indian students at NUS, having solid work experience like yours in the legal field will definitely work in your favor. I'd recommend reaching out to the career services or alumni network at NUS to get more tailored insights on job prospects and connections in your desired locations. Good luck with your LLM journey

Hey, assuming you chose to do LLM Singapore. It would be great if you could share your NUS experience with us. I would also like to know the job opportunities thereafter in Asia? Thank you :)
