hi, can a person who has completed the LLB from the University of London be eligible to apply for the Bar in Singapore?

Singapore does not recognise external london LLB degree for admission purposes. Singapore has one of the world most stringent requirements to get admitted to the local Bar.

The general requirements are first, you have to come from one of the recognised universities and have to graduate with a Second Upper Honours, then you have to enrol into a Graduate Diploma in Singapore Law program from the National University of Singapore for one year. Then from there, you will proceed to do the legal pracitical course which last for 5 months. After that, you then embark on your 6-month pupillage program with local law firms.

To answer your question, provided you are a graduate as an internal student of 3-year duration incampus, from the following recognised colleges of London Uni:

LSE
UCL
SOAS
QMU
KINGS

and had graduated with a 2:1 Honours, then you are eligible to apply for the Diploma program with the National University of Singapore.
